Refers to the consistency and degree of the actual working size of the processed part and the dimensional tolerance of the part.

Dimensional accuracy is controlled by dimensional tolerances. Dimensional tolerance is the amount of variation allowed in part dimensions during the cutting process. When the basic dimensions are the same, the smaller the dimensional tolerance, the higher the dimensional accuracy.

2. Shape accuracy. Refers to the degree of overlap between the actual geometric shape of the surface of the injection molded part and the ideal geometric shape. There are 6 items to evaluate shape accuracy, such as straightness, flatness, roundness, cylindricity and line profile.

Form accuracy is controlled by form tolerances. Except for roundness and cylindricity, all shape tolerances are divided into 12 precision classes. Level 1 is high and level 12 is low.

3. Position accuracy. Refers to the actual working position and precision difference of parts after injection mold processing. The items for evaluating the accuracy of position information include parallelism, perpendicularity, inclination, coaxiality, symmetry, position, circular runout and full runout.

Positioning accuracy is controlled by position tolerances, and position tolerances for different activities are divided into 12 accuracy evaluation levels. Usually, when designing mechanical parts and determining machining accuracy, attention should be paid to controlling the shape error in the position tolerance, and the position error should be smaller than the size tolerance.
