The catalyst tertiary amines used in the production of polyurethane foam often bring strong odors and fog on the inner windows of cars. We can find substitutes for these amines and use polyols , polyols are not only components of the polyurethane molecular chain, but also have catalytic activity, and some polyols can even replace half of the tertiary amine catalysts, so that the odor of injection molding products will become lighter. 2. Use more pure resins. In many plastics, especially in plastics such as polyvinyl chloride, styrene, polyethyl acetate and acrylate, the residual trace monomers will produce unpleasant odors. Very little resin is needed to eliminate those odors.

If the resin itself is odorless, it will also have a good effect. For example, a plastic parts processing factory has developed a new grade of acetal copolymer, which releases a very small amount of odor during the injection process. 3. Pay attention to the use of adsorbent. If a small amount of zeolite is filled in the polymer, it can remove the odor of the material. Zeolite has many crystal voids, which can capture small gas molecules with odor.
