Generally speaking, export molds have relatively high requirements and high prices, so the requirements for mold design and manufacturing are also very high. Whether it is the appearance, strength, standard parts, hot runner, steel, etc. of the mold, it is much stricter than the domestic mold. Different countries have different design standards. For example: Japan generally adopts the misumi standard, and Europe and the United States generally adopt the HASCO and DME standards. This is Three major standards commonly used in export mold design.

For example, a set of sensor molds made by Mulan Injection Mold Factory has been exported to Europe and America. Sensor plastic products have the following characteristics: (1) Defects such as spots, shrinkage depressions, weld marks, and flashing are not allowed on the exterior surface of plastic parts. (2) There are 2 undercuts on the outer surface of the plastic part, and a slider and inclined roof structure are required.

(3) The surface treatment of the front mold of the sensor mold requires VDI3400. According to the structural characteristics and appearance requirements of the plastic parts of the sensor, the engineers of Mulan Precision Injection Mold Factory, the mold adopts a large water port to a submerged port to enter the glue, and the mold cavity is arranged as 1 out of 2. There are 2 undercuts on the outer side of the plastic part, and a slider and a slanted roof structure are required. The mold structure is slightly complicated. In fact, the export mold design is mainly due to the difference in standard parts, such as guide pillars, inclined guide pillars, inclined ejector pins, etc., which need to be in accordance with the customer's specified standards. There is not much difference between export molds and domestic molds in essence, but the requirements for export molds from design to production are much higher than ordinary molds.
