It has the advantages of not polluting the environment during processing, so it has developed rapidly in packaging bottles, and it is the most widely used in pressure-resistant plastic food containers. 4. Due to the modification of resin and the progress of processing technology, the usage of polypropylene is also increasing year by year. Features of hollow products Polycarbonate bottles can be used for the packaging of goods filled at high temperatures (such as juice), but if polycarbonate bottles are used to hold carbonated beverages that require good barrier properties (need to prevent the escape of carbon dioxide in the beverage) or edible oil ( It is necessary to prevent oxygen from entering the bottle to avoid oxidation and rancidity of the edible oil), which cannot protect the product well and cannot obtain the ideal packaging effect; while packaging carbonated beverages in ordinary polyester stretch bottles can effectively prevent oxygen in the beverage Carbon dioxide escape (polyester stretch bottle has excellent barrier performance), and it can be used in the packaging of edible oil, which can delay the oxidative deterioration of edible oil and prolong its shelf life (polyester stretch bottle has good oxygen barrier performance, which can effectively prevent Oxygen in the atmosphere enters the bottle through the wall of the container), but it is used to package commodities such as fruit juice filled at high temperature. When filled at high temperature, the stretched polyester bottle will undergo serious deterioration and lose its use value. Polyethylene bottles can hold substances such as acids and bases, but not organic solvents such as benzene and toluene(The swelling strength of the polyethylene bottle is obviously reduced or the organic solvent escapes through the container wall). Although the nylon container is not suitable for storing acid and alkali, it is very suitable for holding organic solvents such as benzene and xylene. Multi-layer composite containers PE/PA/PE and PE single-layer containers are almost identical in appearance. Even experts in the plastic products industry can hardly separate them in terms of appearance. The difference in performance is indeed very large, especially in terms of barrier properties to oxygen, carbon dioxide, nitrogen and organic solvents.
