    About PP Injection Molding

    PP is polypropylene. It is a thermoplastic with good tensile strength, with high strength, good insulation, low water absorption, low density and high crystallinity. By filling glass fibers, minerals, thermoplastic rubber, etc., the material properties can be improved, More suitable for injection molding products with special functions.

    The quality problem of severe shrinkage of PP injection-molded parts often occurs, which can be avoided by high-speed injection molding and the need to use a larger circular injection port. Material shrinkage also occurs during cooling, and the product needs to be placed in hot water. Soak to improve shrinkage deformation.

    In the manufacturing process of PP injection molded parts with large wall thickness, bubbles usually appear, so the product design should prevent uneven thickness product design.


    About PVC Injection Molding

    PVC used to be the world's most productive general-purpose plastic, widely used in building materials, industrial products, daily necessities, floor leather, pipes, packaging films, foaming agents, and a variety of industries.

    However, PVC injection molding is poor. Excessive melting temperature and heating time can easily decompose PVC. Due to thermal conductivity, the material is prone to uneven heating and unsatisfactory injection molding.

    Therefore, the structural design of the product needs to avoid sharp corners or large deformation, and keep the thickness uniform, which can effectively prevent the decomposition and deterioration of PVC.

    Details such as draft angle and cooling system should be fully considered in the mold design, the surface should be polished such as chrome plating, and the ratio of the mold runner and injection hole should be reasonably designed, so that the PVC material does not stay in the process of injection into the mold cavity. The pressure is balanced.

    What is the Difference Between Blow Molding and Injection Molding?        

    A:

    The main difference between injection molding and blow molding is the types of products that can be produced. Generally, blow molding is the manufacture of hollow containers, such as bottles, pots, barrels and so on. There is no injection port on the surface, Injection molding is used to produce solid parts. The plastic granular material is first melted, and then injected into a closed mold under high pressure for shaping. There will be traces of the injection port on the surface.

    Where is blow moulding used?        

    A:

    Blow molding is widely used in the production of hollow structure products, such as: water bottles, oil drums, chemical turnover barrels, floats, medical reagent bottles, etc. Injection blow molding is suitable for small container production, and stretch blow molding is suitable for medium and large-volume container products. However, the surface effect of injection blow molded products is better than stretch blow molding, and can be highly transparent and flat. Drinking water bottles are the most typical injection blow molding.

    What are the disadvantages of blow moulding?
