Good blow molded products start from design. The design of blow molding products is the key to making competitive and high-quality containers, and it is a systematic and comprehensive engineering plan. That is, firstly consider the satisfaction of the application performance; then select the material and determine the blow molding method (especially pay attention to the parting, demoulding, exhaust, etc. of the blow molded parts); finally, the determination of the structural size and technical requirements of the blow mold, At the same time, the craftsmanship of mold processing must also be taken into account. The whole process should be closely integrated with production cost and efficiency. The description of the blow molding product planning process is as follows: (1) Planning goals. According to the use and application requirements of blow molding products, determine the functional characteristics, environmental conditions and load conditions of the products. This is the first part of general planning. (2) Shape modeling structure planning. According to the functional characteristics, environmental conditions and load conditions of blow molding products, it is designed to meet the application requirements, beautiful in appearance, reasonable in size, suitable in strength and economical in materials. (3) Reasonable material selection. The selected blow molding product materials should meet the requirements of performance and molding processing. If the blow molded products have special functional requirements (such as antistatic, anti-aging, sterilization, etc.), the selection of appropriate additives should be considered during formulation planning. If it is difficult for one material to meet the design requirements of blow molded parts, multiple materials should be considered, and blending modification or co-extrusion blow molding method should be used to improve the technical performance of blow molded parts. If there are multiple materials to choose from, you should consider the price of the materials and whether it is convenient to buy the materials in the local shopping malls. (4) Preliminary planning of samples. Including formulation planning, process planning, structural modeling and mold planning. These three aspects should be carried out together and considered as a whole, with the intention of taking care of the integrity of the preliminary planning of the sample. It is advisable to consider more plans and replace them with alternate plans when necessary. After the design is completed, the material, process, cost, quality and other aspects can be compared, and then a comprehensive evaluation can be made. ① Formulation planning. Consider the cooperation of base resin and additives according to the functional requirements of blow molded products. ②Process planning. Clear molding equipment and its impact on plastic part planning. According to the production quantity and technical performance of plastic parts, select the appropriate molding method. Plan the process flow, process conditions and main process parameters of blow molding. When there are multiple blow molding equipment to choose from, the cost of equipment and molds, the proficiency of skilled workers, and the material loss rate when producing blow molded parts should be considered. ③Structure modeling and mold planning. According to the structural shape of the blow molded parts, determine the requirements of the modeling design, draw the mold design drawing, and determine the mold processing conditions. (5) Trial production of samples. This is a practical overall test of the various design concepts in the preliminary design of the above samples. In the trial production, the mold is tested together and the samples obtained from the test mold are checked. As a result of the trial production, a variety of samples and process conditions of different designs can be obtained, and various indicators of samples of different designs can be tested and evaluated. (6) Performance test, quota calculation and cost accounting. Carry out functional tests on the trial-manufactured samples to check whether they meet the design requirements, and thus determine the technical quality indicators of the products. Through batch trial production, calculate production efficiency, consumption of raw and auxiliary materials, and waste rate, etc., and calculate raw material cost and salary cost to obtain a reasonable product cost. If in this procedure, the manufacturing quality does not meet the planning requirements or there are deficiencies, it should go back to the preliminary planning procedure to make appropriate corrections. (7) Modification of product planning. Product design revisions are repeated multiple times, including revisions after product design evaluation, revisions after product testing, and final revisions by users.(8) Compile technical documents such as technical planning instructions. The product design of important projects should adopt the method of appraisal meeting and evaluation meeting, gather expert opinions, and carry out the final approval of product and technical documents. Technical documents include production process, process operating procedures, product technical standards, safety operating procedures, user trial reports, product function test reports, and product operating instructions, etc.
